    Since Macleans is citing this as a source.

    I quickly pursued a large selection of the acts mentioned above. Only two (that I could find) specifically listed using census data as part of the act, the Old Ages Security Act and the Canada Transportation Act.

    May I ask on what basis you listed the acts above? (I used the public PDFs available at http://laws.justice.gc.ca for my quick search).

    This list was provided to me directly by Statistics Canada on March 9, 2010. These are act for which census data are provided to support programs created as part of the ope rationalization of those acts.
